As a Data Engineer you are responsible for building data pipelines to bring together information from different source systems. You integrate, consolidate and filter data and give it structure for reporting and analysis purposes.

Job requirements

What we ask:

• At least a completed higher professional education in IT.
• Experience with cloud architectures.
• Experience with Cloud (e.g. Microsoft Azure, AWS, etc.).
• Experience with technologies such as Databricks, Spark Structured Streaming and PySpark.
• Create data connectors using Python and other coding languages.
• Define data validation test to run in the data pipeline.
• Define monitoring and alerting to ensure visibility when data flow is interrupted or exhibits unexpected behavior.
• In the event of incidents, quickly perform the root cause analysis so that the incident can be resolved with minimal impact to the end user.
• Responsible for building, deploying, maintaining and optimizing data connectors to create a data flow to the data lake.
