About the function
As a Financial Administrator, you are responsible for performing various financial tasks and supporting the financial team. Your main responsibilities include:
- Daily accounting tasks, including processing incoming and outgoing invoices, bank transactions and journal entries.
- Preparing financial reports, such as balance sheets, profit and loss accounts, and cash flows.
- Assisting in preparing budgets and carrying out budget monitoring.
- Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable administration, including following up on outstanding payments.
- Assisting with monthly, quarterly and annual closings.
- Providing support with tax returns and audits.
- Contributing to process improvements within the finance department.
Your qualities
- At least an MBO diploma in finance, accounting, business administration or a related field.
- Relevant work experience as a financial administrator or similar position.
- Good knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
- Experience with accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Proactive and results-oriented attitude.
