You are a good programmer who knows his way around the JVM environment and besides Java also looks at other languages ​​such as Kotlin, Groovy, Scala or Clojure. It doesn’t matter to you where your software runs (AWS, Azure, GCP, PCF) as long as it works and keeps working. You like variety and enjoy working for different cool clients on innovative solutions. You find quality important and you feel comfortable with teamwork and head-to-tail. You are only really satisfied when users of your products are happy. You are a real team player and are keen on continuous improvement. You coach colleagues, both from us and from the clients.

You are passionate about your craft, open to criticism and love to show your work to others, for inspiration or just to get feedback on a wild new idea. Failure is not scary to you, it is the fastest way for you to learn.

Job requirements

As a Java engineer you have

  • Minimum HBO work and thinking level
  • More than 3 years of working experience as a programmer on the JVM platform
  • Good knowledge and experience with cloud technology
  • A preference for Agile working in a devops environment
  • The ambition to develop yourself enormously, to learn from your environment and to grow into a Lead Developer or Software Architect
  • Good focus and clear view of results
  • Very good communication skills, fluent in Dutch
