Who will you be working with?

You will work in the Accountancy team, where you will work closely with Marjon, Peter or Marja and with a large part of our 30 colleagues. In addition, you will regularly consult with the administration department, the tax department and other assistant accountants such as Masood, Alex and Linda.

Your function

We are looking for a Junior Assistant Accountant who likes to delve into the depths of a company’s figures. As part of our team, you are enthusiastic about delving further into accountancy and contribute to the broader picture.

As an important link within our team, you are responsible for various tasks, ranging from compilation work for annual accounts to preparing tax returns. You work closely with colleagues and clients to ensure that all financial aspects are handled clearly and correctly.

A typical day

Today is all about preparatory work for the annual accounts and setting up returns for the VPB and IB. A client comes by for a meeting, where you share your findings and advice with them. You have already made the necessary preparations earlier this week, which allows you to work efficiently.

During your work you notice that there are opportunities for subsidy that have not yet been used. This is something you want to discuss with your colleagues and the client later in the day, given the potential for financial benefits.

You end the day with a professional meeting with your team, where important developments are discussed and the course for the future is determined. This way we stay up-to-date as a team and can optimally serve our customers.

• You have completed a vocational education in the direction of Business Administration & Control Specialist, or a comparable education such as HBO Business Economics or Accountancy.
