We develop a SaaS platform that distributes more than 15 million event tickets annually. Our customers are the largest concert halls and theaters in Belgium, the Netherlands and abroad.

As a developer, you will work directly on our most important applications that thousands of ticket buyers and users come into contact with every day. You will work on improvements and features, large and small, in cycles of a few weeks. You will work in a small team of 5 developers, where we work on improving the product in a targeted manner.

Here are some examples of the work you will do on a daily basis:

  • Build a waitlist system where ticket users register when an event is sold out.
  • Building support for a new Payment Service Provider.
  • Investigate how the performance of a specific function can be improved.
  • Perform a database migration to roll out a new feature.
  • Monitoring the systems during an exceptional peak sales event.

Job requirements

Your skills:

  • Excellent knowledge of PHP/Symfony. Knowledge of Golang is a plus.
  • Excellent knowledge of Javascript. You are familiar with modern browser APIs, HTML and CSS. Experience with Javascript frameworks such as Vue.js.
  • Experience with complex, large applications (We are a large application with many man-years of development, built over a period of more than 10 years).
  • Knowledge of standard software engineering practices (git, unit/integration testing, documentation, continuous integration, version control,…).
  • Good knowledge of web technologies and API development (HTML, JSON, REST,…).
  • You have a Master’s degree in Information Technology or an equivalent level through experience.
  • You can clearly communicate your methods and expectations to the team.
  • Autonomy and a sense of responsibility are a must.
