We need your expertise For multiple enterprise customers we create data connectors to make data flow from various sources, using state-of-the art technologies and cloud providers like Azure. But we are agnostic and do not shy away from any technical implementation. What they all have in common, is that the data is part of the business value chain and will be used in a production environment, so data quality, continuity and seamless flow are crucial – of course with monitoring for disruptions.

Activities

• Create data connectors or processing solutions, using Python or other coding languages.
• Define validation tests to run in the data pipeline.
• Define monitoring and alerting to ensure visibility when the data flow is interrupted or corrupted.
• If incidents occur, you take the lead in getting to the root cause as soon as possible to solve the incident with as little impact on the end users as possible.
• Interact and validate with end users for the solutions you build, aiming for continuous improvement.
• You and the team are responsible for building, deploying, maintaining, and optimizing the data flow solution.

Job requirements

This is you

Of course you are involved, driven and you like to work in a world that is constantly changing. To do that successfully, you need:

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or other technical studies where programming is an important part of the curriculum, such as artificial intelligence or data science.
• At least 5 years of experience in one or more development languages: Python, Java, C#, C++, JavaScript
• You have experience in developing software in a microservices architecture
• You have an affinity with, and preferably experience in, software development on Cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services or Google Cloud Platform
• Experience and interest in infrastructure-as-code (Ansible, Terraform) is a plus
• You have experience working in a (customer-oriented) DevOps team
• Professional working proficiency in Dutch is required
