You are responsible for the operational maintenance and management of various systems. This includes the management, monitoring, maintenance and replacement of the infrastructure at customers, such as: servers, PCs, network peripherals and VOIP systems, supporting end users and resolving faults. You do not shy away from installing software and migrating servers and/or server roles in on-premise, hybrid or Azure Cloud environments.

You are the sparring partner for your fellow team members when it comes to technical challenges and solutions to (migration) issues. You will also perform 2nd-line system management tasks to keep the IT landscape in order. Externally, you maintain contacts with suppliers and coordinate the agreed changes and projects, which you have (partly) initiated yourself. Because the continuity of our customers’ networks is of crucial importance, you will work together with your direct colleagues in a standby service.

Job requirements

Who you are:

  • Managing various infrastructure environments, specifically Azure
  • Microsoft365 (Exchange online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Azure and Windows Virtual Desktop)
  • Setting up and managing Active Directory and Group policies
  • Set up and manage virtualized environments (preferably VMWare and Xen) using virtualization software
  • (Hosted) VoIP telephony (preferably 3CX)
  • Network infrastructures (routers, switches, firewalls, TCP/IP and VLANs, DNS and Internet protocols)
  • Troubleshooting or locating faults
  • Microsoft software, such as Windows 7/10 and Server 2016-2019, Remote Desktop servers and Exchange Server
  • Intune
  • Antivirus (preferably Sophos)
  • Server migrations (On-premises, hybrid, or from on-premises/hybrid to Azure)
